Any fans of the movie "Innerspace" starring Dennis Quaid and Martin Short?
It's another film I've seen a lot on HBO as a kid so I do have a fondness for it. It is an entertaining film with good visual effects and performances. It does feel like a movie of its time, but it holds up well if you give in to it.

If only they cast Robin Williams instead of Short...His shtick gets old real fast in this film...or if they kept the original concept intact, that of an action spy drama, instead of the comedy (And retained the director attached at that point, John Carpenter)

It's one of those cult childhood 80's films for me. Watched it a lot and quoted it a lot, as a kid.
Very entertaining and great special effects for the time which still hold up well today. I can see why it won the Oscar for them.
