Does anyone else think that Sasha is going to get killed off considering that Sonequa Martin Green got the lead in a new Star Trek series?

I really hope they don't rush through the Whisperers' story. There's some great material there. I haven't read the comic. The Whisperers do sound cool. I think these stories work in the comic, where it is spread out over months and years. I'm not sure how it will work on TV. After spending 2 years dealing with the Saviors, it will immediately jump to having to fight the Whisperers? I'm afraid people will tire out of this repeating routine. The show may end before we even get there. Maybe the show will end after the Saviors arc? I think AMC will keep the show on, I'm just not sure how long the actors will stay on.

There will be at least one main cast death this season, (if you consider Sasha one of the main cast, which I do). I don't see any more story for her.

Such a shame. Hopefully it will be a heroic death.

I'm not getting my hopes up for 7b either. I made that mistake with 7a, which turned out to be pretty boring overall (except for the premiere episode). But I'm hoping for the best, maybe the second half of this season will pleasantly surprise me somehow. It HAS to be better! At least it won't be under this black cloud of defeat that swallowed up 7a!

Such a shame. Hopefully it will be a heroic death. I think it will be....and very emotional. Rumor has it Abraham will return for a flashback or dream sequence. Maybe we will see them reunited again!

You know, I still don't like Abraham for dumping Rosita. The way he did it was especially harsh. So many more tactful ways he could have done it.

Why are dingleberries brown? That's just the way shit is!" He could have been more tactful, even if he was following his heart. That doesn't make Abraham a bad guy...it's just that tact and subtlety was never one of his skills. I think he truly fell in love with Sasha, where Rosita was just a f@#k -buddy. We never really got an insight into their relationship beyond that. I don't feel too bad for Rosita...she was screwing Spencer within a week or two of Abraham's death.

I guess I can relate to being in her position in that moment, probably that makes me dislike Abraham. Her moving on quickly doesn't mean she wasn't hurt or hurt enough by it. Some people need to get over someone by getting under someone else.

Some people need to get over someone by getting under someone else. I don't blame Rosita, either. I DID feel bad for her the way it went down. But like I said, we really saw nothing about their relationship other than jumping into bed, (with Eugene watching....eeewwwww)!

Ewwwww is right LOL. I think their having sex may have meant more to her than it did to him. I got the impression she was devastated. But Abraham is gone now, it doesn't really matter it seems. I'm looking forward to what Rosita is going to contribute in the plot against Negan. There was squandered potential in the midseason finale for an interesting plot turn, but it played out more or less the way what we all thought.

For Rosita and Sasha to be enemies? For Negan to take Rosita instead of Eugene? What ideas did you have?

I was hoping for Rosita to take out someone or at least hurt Negan in some way and get taken back to the Saviors camp. I feel like Negan doesn't outright kill or disfigure people he respects--eg. Carl--and I doubt he would kill Rosita for pulling the same stunt. She probably would have been put with the other girls. I think it would be interesting to see a how a strong woman like Rosita deals in that situation. Instead, he takes in Eugene, who will most likely used for his wits and eventually disposed of. I honestly don't care at all for Eugene, he and Gabriel outstayed their welcome a while ago.

I've heard so many spoilers it takes a lot of the surprise out of anything. Eugene and Gabriel are supposed to play bigger parts later on. This show has done lousy developing characters for years. It makes us not care for them like we did in the early seasons. I just hope they don't give us another season of 2-3 episodes worth of story, spread out over 8 episodes, (9 or 10 really if you add the time from all the extended episodes)!

I can't wait to start discussion with you guys when the premiere airs. "Guys"? Who else is here? Were you on the original IMDb boards with a different name? I was hoping more would show up here, but I think many are waiting for the old one to actually shut down first. The only thing is I work 3rd shift, so I have to record the show and watch it Monday morning. So I will not be on here Sunday nights. (Don't want it spoiled before I see it)!

I don't care about the characters anymore. The show has been terrible in developing them. I used to love Daryl and the show has not been doing him any favors. His stand alone last season (the one where he loses his crossbow and bike to Dwight) was one of the worst episodes ever written for the show. So disappointing. Sigh, hopefully they get back on the right track soon.

I just realized we can't make sub-threads. So all the discussions get lumped together???
