The thing is that I am a big fan of classic rock. The Beatles, Doors, Pink Floyd, The Who, Led Zep, Tom Petty, Bob Seeger etc etc. I am interested in broadening my horizons and am interested in looking for more modern bands or singers, from the 90's or 2Ks, that capture the good ol' rock-n-roll sound that classic rock does. And I would also like to find music acts that were not just one or two hit wonders. They can no longer be around but someone that had some staying power for a bit. The only modern band that I am into right now that fits with what I'm looking for is Oasis. Who else is there? And if you can, please provide a video or some way I can listen with your suggestion. Thanx!

Yes.
I've heard the Fleet Foxes.
Lately I've been listening to Paul Kelly and Charlie Owen, "Death's Dateless Night." Not exactly rock, but they do a great version of Townes Van Zandt's "To Live Is to Fly"!
