Super excited about The 100 coming back! The first episode of season 4 has already aired, but I haven't got to watch it yet. I'm looking forward to it ASAP.

I just watched episode 2 of season 4. Octavia was so badass. For me personally, one of the best developed characters on The 100.

Were previous seasons released all at once or one ep a week like this season?

The season 5 premiere aired yesterday and so far it has received rave reviews with many critics calling it the best premiere of the show and perhaps the start of the best season since season 2. I haven't seen it yet, but I'll watch it tomorrow and I'm very intrigued. Reviews include The AV Club (A-), TV Fanatic (4.9/5), TV Over Mind (4.5/5), Telltaletv (5/5), Collider (4/5) and Denofgeek (3.5/5).

Glad to see there are at least a couple of fellow fans of "The 100" on this site. I've watched it from the beginning and IMO it's one of the best scifi shows ever. I hate the fact that the CW does such a crummy job of promoting it. Last night's season premier did not disappoint. Can't wait for next week's episode.

I just watched last week's premiere and I loved it. Great character development and a intruiging new story. I didn't really know if the show could stay interesting after the events of season 4, but the first episode proved me wrong. I really like Madi as a character and Clarke is a very strong and likeable character this episode. I can't wait for next week. It looks like this could be one of the best seasons. I don't know if it'll be better than season 2, but it certainly has potential.

i liked the premiere more than last season
the child actor was cringeworthy at times though, overacting?

Well episode 2 got us all caught up on what's been happening in the bunker. It was another great episode.

I like the Expanse better, but 100 is also ok, albeit some premises are hard to take...why send prisoners into space...even in this future it was extremely expensive, and their ship and equipment seems to outclass every single space station that was in orbit, even the entire ark. And why are they free, that heavily armed more like a future version of Black Water.
And they were in stasis when I got it right...so why not more stations if not even first settlements on Mars?!
They bring an super enemy in a non-convinsible fashion into play.
I have also have a hard time to believe that they can't dig a tunnel to freedom within six syears...
Or this green valley...c'mon. if this was the case, the Alps, Andes, the Himalaya etc. pp. were for more effective natural barriers. And how should nuclear power plants - centered in Eurpe the continent that is the most against this technology - cause such a blast. And these super power plants are definitely desgined to shut themselves down.
It's Sci-Fi, but many ideas (=> major story acrs) are just ridiculous and certainly not the strong part of the show.
At least Jarah(sp?) is gone for good.

Renewed for season 6! CW announced it today. It's great to see this modern day cult classic continue for another season.

What is happening The 100!? I just watched the third episode. This show is way to good for the CW. Season 3 was okay and season 4 was good, but this is on a whole other level. I honestly can't remember any tv show with its first 3 episodes of a season this good since perhaps one of the Game Of Thrones seasons or the first season of Westworld. Please people, don't skip this show, it's the best sci-fi show at the moment (with The Expanse) and deserves more attention. This season is shaping up to be even better than season 2. I can't wait for the next episode. CW is wise to renew it, this is the best show they've ever had. It's rare for a show to experience its best season or episodes in its fifth season, but The 100 shows everyone how it's done.

kevinExactly right. It's really too bad sometimes that there are so many entertainment choices these days that a show like this can be so easily overlooked. I often talk to young people (high school or college age) who are supposed to be the target audience for this show and most of them have never even heard of it. Of course it doesn't help that CW has always done a terrible job of promoting the show.

The last episode was really good: it explains why prisoners: a mining ship makes perfect sense for me...albeit it was almost too big, too advanced compared to the arc...but on the other hand I like it. I never forgave them to blow up mount weather, and also to declare it entirely gone. The damn and the power plant alone would have been a great assets to rebuilt a community...something I'd like to see. They can't bring in new roghue factions etc. pp. on and on, they have to leave this trope and focus how mankind will go on.
At least the new enemy it not purely evil...there is potential in the female leader, and she seems to be more a political prisoner unlike most of the others....but why leave the ship unmanned?
And what really fucks me up: Murphy. And also Bellamy's emotional approach...at least in the end he seems to get his acts together in the advent of a new enemy.

Episode 5 was phenomenal again. I think this is shaping up to be The 100's best season. Great characters, an unpredictable and interesting story, interesting villains, it has it all. Can't wait to see how the rest of the season plays out.
