Do you think Daniel Craig will be ranked higher than Pierce Brosnan, once he is done doing Bond?

I thought he already was? You are correct. Brosnan was a good Bond, but apart from GOLDENEYE his 007 flicks range from "meh" to terrible.

Brosnan was the better 007 Agent, as a character. Craig's films are better. But I couldn't help and think younger Brosnan in 1994 could have played the HELL out of "Casino Royale"

He already kind of is. He's had more consistently decent films and never fell into the "visibly bored" trap that Brosnan did by his third film.

GE really has aged atrociously. Especially the music. Going back and watching it recently I was shocked by just how "90s cheese" it feels now.

Craig is already much better Bond right off from Casino Royale. He's about as good as the best Bond , Connery.
Read the original books. You will picture Connery in your head. And Craig as well.

Do you think Daniel Craig will be ranked higher than Pierce Brosnan, once he is done doing Bond? It's not even a debate. YES.
Craig's run has been invigorating while Brosnan's is almost unanimously considered to be pretty bland.
Seriously, there is no debate to be had here.

I think Brosnan fit the character but the films he was in outside Goldeneye weren't good.

I think Brosnan fit the character but the films he was in outside Goldeneye weren't good. Even Goldeneye isn't particularly good in retrospect. It's got some elements that work, like Sean Bean, but as a movie it's pretty middle of the road at best. It's pacing in the center is slow as molasses, and that musical score is the worst in a bond film to date. It sounds like porn music at best and like a 1990s late night talk show at worst. I think a lot of people remember it fondly more because of the N64 game than because of the movie itself.

But porn music is the best kind Honestly whenever I go back and watch James Bond movies I almost never go and see Brosnan films.

Brosnan was by far the better Bond. Just that Craig had the better films. To be honest though, I look at Craig and I don't see James Bond. Daniel Craig is more Jason Bourne than he is James Bond. Heck, the Transporter feels more like James Bond than Craig's movies. Actually now that I think about it, Daniel Craig's movies were pretty solid action films but they never felt like Bond films to me.

I believe that if you look at the inflation adjusted box office figures Connery, Moore and Craig share the top 10 spots with a 433 split (can't recall who had 4). So going by the "public vote" Bronsan doesn't stack up...

DC has two great Bond movies and two decent-but-not-great Bond movies. PB has one great Bond movie, one good Bond movie (I like TWiNE), and two boring/bad Bond movies.

Particularly the early ones like From Russia with Love and Dr. No? Because the Daniel Craig Bond movies and his performances in those movies are very much in line with those early Connery films as well as with the Dalton films (QoS is practically a remake of License to Kill) and On Her Majesty's Secret Service.

I hope not. I really prefer Brosnan.

I like Brosnan a lot better. Sure, Craig's movies are technically superior while Brosnan's were mostly summer blockbuster popcorn fluff, but in my opinion he was way more Bond-like. I do like Craig, but he lacks several traits that make a true Bond. I know most will disagree, but that's okay. To each their own.
