Just curious if anyone enjoyed this film? I really dug it and while the story was a bit lacking , the visuals/action/soundtrack(Daft Punk!) made up for it.
8/10
also, I read that Disney might be moving forward with another TRON (apparently Jared Leto met with Disney studio execs for a role in it). I'd be all about seeing another TRON film for sure

I loved it...especially Daft Punk's soundtrack. As a big fan of the original, I was a little skeptical upon hearing about this, but I ended up really enjoying it. I was surprised it didn't do better...(not sure about the numbers, but it kinda vanished after release)

Yay. The characters should have been developed more and the story should have been engaging, but the visual effects and the soundtrack were incredible.

It's far from perfect, but I enjoyed it. It's different from most of the other movies today and the soundtrack & visual effects are stellar.

...I refer to the original Tron film which I thought was excellent, but then I was an I/T manager at the time and understood all of the terminology. The second film was ho-hum...

A sheepish yay. It's a little bit over-the-top and weird, but it's really fun to watch.

I also agree here that the electronic music duo Daft Punk was the perfect choice for this films soundtrack as well ( was also really glad they had a cameo in this film too ! ) . Thanks so much jakesully for the updated info on another possible sequel for these other Tron films and for your subject post too .

Yeah, it's within my Top 107 movies. one of the rare PG rated movies of any real worth as nearly all movies of any worth are almost always PG-13 or R rated, with most being R.
7.5-8/10
p.s. for the record... Tron (1982) is a 6/10 (a mild Thumbs Up)

I thought it was okay the first time I saw it but on repeat viewings it has grown on me. Daft Punk nailed the soundtrack.

Yay.
It actually turned out to be pretty decent. They managed to get Jeff Bridges back, so that's a plus in my book.
I can't really say that about a lot of films that have a sequel after 20+ years, with Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008) being an example.
If there's ever a third installment, then I wouldn't mind seeing it in theaters.
