I managed to save 36 out of 38 Rock concert ticket stubs going back to 1975. Somehow I lost the Parliament-Funkadelic stub and I got a refund for a cancelled Led Zeppelin concert. I wish I could've kept the ticket, but I needed the $20. It's strange to look at the oldest stubs and see the prices were usually $6 to $10.

When I was a kid and teen I tried to keep track of all my concert tickets and movie tickets. With the movie tickets somtime in the early 80s I thought it was kind of silly to continue with the movie tickets as during the 70s most movie ticket stubs were just those small 1 inch carnival lottery style tickets. Plus I wasn't going to as many, I never really went super regularly. Sometimes the only distinguishing marks on movie tickets were the "admit one" phrase. Concert tickets however almost always have printed out what the show was. Sometime during the late 80s early 90s I lost track of my concert tickets. Now I don't know where many of my concert tickets are. Some may be with the show program I had purchased. I know my ticket for when I saw Queen during the Jazz tour I had taped to a Queen wall poster I had. It is rolled up in a closet somewhere. My Pat Benatar ticket stub from the summer of 1980 (0r was it 81?) I have in a framed display of Pat Benatar memorabilia I put together that includes a white labeled promo 45 of one of her singles along with the Chrysalis Records letter promoting it to whatever radio station had originally been sent the disc. I had gotten that from a used record store. I now forget which store as I went regularly to quite a few in the 1980s most of which are now long gone.

I used to collect movie tickets until most theaters started using those receipt-esque tickets that fade in 2 weeks. I go back to 2004.

I kept all mine. Too bad they don't offer tickets like they used too. Oldest I still have is KISS at Chicago Ampatheater 1979 & Van Halen 1984 Rosemont Horizon.

I have some movie tickets saved. The oldest ones are for Jimmy Neutron and Summer Catch (2001). The bottom half is ripped off and the print is partly faded.
I went to four WWE shows between 2002 and 2005, and I kept all of those tickets. The oldest one from 2002 looks like it got left outside in the rain.
I also have a ticket saved from a Romeo & Juliet play in St. Paul that I saw with my High School class in 2005.

I started to collect the concert tickets in the late 80's, but the place I went to that had the major shows would give me a ticket that had a previous show on it. So there was no point. Then came the paper printouts online so there's no point collecting those.

I've kept all the tickets, where possible, for every gig I have been to. Goes back to the late 80s

Oh don't remind me. I used to have a little oak jewel box with all of my concert ticket. Vanished.

My mother kept a few movie stubs from the 1980s when she used to take me as a kid.
I have concert tickets I won in a radio contest back in 2004. I never went and just kinda kept them in a photo album.
All I remember is that I didn't particularly care for the band that was playing at the time. Everybody I knew didn't want them.
