July 21st marks the 30th anniversary of Guns N' Roses' "Appetite for Destruction". Any fans of this album and/or Guns N' Roses? This is the best album from Guns N' Roses and still one of the great first albums from a band in rock history. The singles like "Welcome To The Jungle", "Paradise City", and "Sweet Child o' Mine" are classics, but the album tracks also help give the album a beating heart like "Mr. Brownstone", "My Michelle", and "Nightrain".

Along with Nirvana - Nevermind, Apetite for Destruction become two of the albums that helped boost my interest towards rock music and I still play it every now and then. I remember buying it in the summer of 2002, and could not wait to come home and listen to it. Fantastic album cover, even though I think another was planned but did not get used because of some censorship. Almost every track is a classic, but my favorite has to be:

I hate Axel but its one of the greatest rock albums ever. Wish I heard it in 87. I think it was 89 when I first heard it. Remember buying the cheap cassette because the cover was missing, along with either Bon Jovi's New Jersey and Iron Maidens SSoaSS. I was all over the place back then but still love GnR's and Maiden

Of all my hard rock albums I can usually find one song that I can skip over. This is one of the few albums where every tune is great. I can listen from start to finish. Masterpiece!

Still a great album and one of the best rock debuts ever. Every song on it still rocks!

Best album ever. It's pretty much the soundtrack to my 20s....
