Show looking real good! Only a less than a month till release! Outstanding! Looks epic for a movie, let alone a show. Every aspect from the fights to the tense scenes to the clumsy humor seems perfect except for Finn. His delivery, expressions, and motions are just a bit off in a trying to be serious in a sci-fi channel flick way. But still awesome. The glowing fist is great. It's been such an awesome buildup to this series.

Okay some spoilers below, read at your own risk.
Alright, i just got done watching the last episode of Marvel's The Defenders and it honestly was pretty good, not amazing as some fanboys might claim, but definitely better than Iron Fist season one. I got somethings that i like and dislike, so lets get to it.
The Good:
1. There were some cool shots that actually used colors that represent each Defender, in fact the cinematography was pretty good for a show.
2. Character interactions and writing. It felt like something out of the pages of a comic and worked organically within the universe. Loved the little sass between Jessica and Matt as well as the bits we got got with Luke and Danny (Hopefully we get Heroes for Hire!)
3. The fight scenes! Especially when the four teamup and kick some ass together! Although i wish we got some team combos, like in The Avengers!
The Bad:
The villians. Sigourney Weaver played her part well, but i was disappointed in the use of elektra as the final antagonist and even more so when she killed weaver character. Honestly the Hand in general been pretty weak, but i guess its good to wrapup their story. If we get a season two, i hope we get a super vilian group!
Overall, ill give it a 8/10. Good, but definitely needs improvement on the story and vilian arc.

I thought The Defenders was a real treat for fans of their solo shows. They fought together and they brought everyone else from their shows with them, and now they're probably gonna crossover on each other's shows, on top of them all coming back for a second season. I can't wait.
My only complaint was not seeing Colleen Wing have a confrontation with Elektra, especially after what she was doing with the Iron Fist.

Sadly I don't think the Avengers will turn up in the TV show Like I said, it'll probably take elements of the storyline. I suspect that there will be some other story that'll have a main focus. I'd imagine his mother will be a subplot.

I thought it was fun, it held my interest more than Luke Cage or Iron Fist's shows did. I thought the writers did a good job pulling together the strands of the other shows into a (mostly) cohesive story. Considering how much DD season 2 and Iron Fist contradict each other, the fact that this wasn't a total disaster is a credit to the creative team behind the show.
As always, it's fun to see characters you've been following for years come together-- even the supporting casts had plenty of screen time, which was a nice touch. Eight episodes was the right amount for this story, I think Cage and Iron Fist could've been cut to ten, personally.
Iron Fist as they've written him is much better as a member of an ensemble, so he was much more enjoyable this time around. He came off as a real dipshit in his own show. He was stilla dope here, but an enjoyable one. His naivete and enthusiasm was a welcome presence among the more serious minded members of the group. It still doesn't make a ton of sense that a character whose power comes from focus and inner calm is so spastic and goofy, but again his personality worked well in a group setting so I got a kick out of him this time around.
I have to admit I really geeked out whenever the team got together for a fight scene, even more so when Colleen joined in. Hell I would've loved it if Trish showed up in the Hellcat costume. The group was already debating the morality of taking down the building (despite it being filled with supernatural terrorists, really a no-brainer if you ask me) so I get why they didn't involve Punisher. Still would've liked him to show up somewhere in all this. But now I'm just being greedy. They're in New York, why not mention Spider-Man while you're at it?
All in all it was a great ride and it set up some exciting prospects for the future of the Netflix MCU. I wouldn't put it above either season of DD, but it's a solid entry. Really looking forward to future installments of all of these shows.
