Would never touch it as a young child but started eating it as I got older and have enjoyed it ever since.

I LOVE it!!! But I make my own & I don't use crap like above(I'm a baker & only use butter, no shortening in my place). But like most things, I only have mayo sparingly.

I do like Mayonnaise. I prefer it home-made, but the best balance of ingredient amounts renders too much for me to be able to eat, before it goes bad. If I'm doing a dish for a large group, I always make my own.
The only commercial brand I like is Best Foods ... which is Hellman's, east of The Rockies, in the U.S.. I don't know if/how it's marketed in Canada. All of the other commercial brands that I have tried, have a sweetness to them. There's no place for "sweet," in Mayo!

Thank you for the info RIP. If there was any temptation left to make anymore bad mayonnaise decisions on my part, they are completely gone now. Yeah, I'm rethinking Mayonnaise as we speak.

Since then I haven't had mayo

I hate it almost as much as I hate circular saws. Why do you hate circular saws...did you lose a finger, fingers or a hand to a circular saw? Or is it their LOUD annoying noise?!Maybe he tried a Skil-saw in a sandwich.
