Spider-Man, Iceman & Firestar were a cool trio in the 80's cartoon - They should do a update live version & include the Hulk also...

That would unfortunately involve Fox, Son, and Marvel Studios to all get along and it's frankly not gonna happen unless Fox gets entirely new management.

No. Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends was a bit before my time and any reruns weren't on any channels I got. I did, however, catch it on one of the Disney Channels after Marvel was purchased by them. It's an entertaining little watch.

They sell it on DVD - If you want to watch them, Hulk teams up with them in one episode....

I'd see it. Would be great to see Iceman (one of my favorite X-Men) get a lot of screentime. I loved that cartoon when I was a kid.

I rewatched the Dracula episode last October and really quite enjoyed it. There was another one that I enjoyed--Lord only knows what it was. I remember seeing it when it was young. * Salzmank is now going through the Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends Wikipedia page.* Speaking of Dracula and Spider-Man, does anyone remember an episode of some show in which Spidey contracted some kind of rare vampiric illness and there was something about an injection he had to take...or something like that?

You might be thinking of the "Neogenic Nightmare" storyline from Season 2 of the 1994 "Spider-Man: The Animated Series." Spidey began having problems with his powers, and went to visit Dr. Conners, who informed him that something in his spider blood was mutating. Spidey went to consult Professor X of the X-Men (in a two-part X-Men crossover), but wasn't able to cure himself. Finally, he went to visit Dr. Mariah Crawford, who gave him a serum that she had been working on, informing him that it would be wise not to consume it until she had run more tests. Spidey began testing it on samples of his blood, and meanwhile Micheal Morbius stole some of the blood he was testing the formula on in order to figure out a cure for his own illness. While testing it on some bats, one of the bats but him, transforming him into a vampire. Spidey soon became desperate to cure his disease, and consumed the formula before Dr. Crawford could inform him that it WAS dangerous. Instead of curing him, the serum amplified his mutation, causing him to grow four extra arms, and soon after that mutate into a gigantic spider monster known as the "Man-Spider." The Punisher got involved in trying to take him out, and Dr. Crawford hired Kraven the Hunter (who had reformed at this point) to restrain Spider-Man long enough to give him an antidote and change him back to normal. Afterwards, Spidey teamed up with Blade the Vampire Hunter to stop Morbius. Möbius eventually mutated into a giant bat, and Spider-Man's mutation disease was not gone entirely. The Vulture was using the tablet of time to steal people's youths to make himself younger, and did so to Spidey, also stealing his powers and the mutation disease in the process. But Spidey managed to steal his youth and powers back, but left the disease in Vulture. Then the season ended on a cliffhanger to set up the next season (though I can't remember what the cliffhanger was). That's what I remember from that season. I might be getting a few details wrong though.

Thanks, filmfan95. I've forgotten most of the details, but that's probably it.

Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends was a good show but it was not as good as the 1967 Spider-Man animated series.
