I tried That Indian Drink - it's a yogurt drink (it's called "Lassi" in India). It's like kefir, I guess. They make it in three flavors:
I got the mango flavor. Gotta say, it was really good. I'd like to get the blueberry flavor, but they didn't have it at the store I was at. Anyway, this drink gets my wholehearted recommendation. Try some if you can find it.

I like lassi. I do recommend trying it in some India restaurant (particularly Punjabi restaurant) as the fresh ones are even better. I personally like plain sweet lassi but if you like flavoured ones then mango and rose are most famous flavours.

I love Lassi, it's brutally easy to make at home though and you can alter it specifically to your own tastes and needs. I love a savoury lassi with just salt, and cardamom, it's the best drink for taming a hot and spicy curry! I also love it flavoured with matcha green tea powder, that is an especially good option when drinking it with food actually, I love it.

I never heard those. where do you get them? Probably most Indian or Pakistani shops will have them ( by the name of lassi). Or you can make at home. But try to use Indian yogurt instead of Greek yogurt. Or you can have them at most Indian or Pakistani restaurants. As suggested by previous user, the home made ones also taste nice.

Since I am a success and live in NYC, I have a huge selection of places to eat, including Indian restaurants. I actually tried that for the first time last month. It's really for spicy foods that Indians eat. The way they say don't drink water, but milk if something is really spicy. Thats basically what it is. It's not bad though, like a smoothie.

I never heard those. where do you get them? Hi Monica good to see you again. [thumbs_up_sign]
I got the stuff at a local grocery store in Seattle area... I recall you live in So. Cali. somewhere, so I don't know what store might carry them in your area, but the store I got it up here is a Kroger-owned store, if that's any help.
I'm still looking for the blueberry-flavored one, because I love blueberries in all forms.

monicah: Oh, I coulda' swore it was California you were from, near the beach..... oh well!
What part of Florida do you live in (as long as it's not a big secret! lol)
I lived in St. Augustine for a while, a long time ago. I loved it.
Yeah, if you have a Whole Foods or something similar in your area, you might be able to find that drink there. I'm really getting into these smoothie drinks. Some of them are really like "meal replacement" beverages with lots of vitamins and protein in them. I jokingly call them "baby food for adults" lol.

The downtown section has become a bit overly touristy, but still a cool place to visit. The town has this old Spanish fort, too - "Castille de San Marco" I think it's called. And the nearby beaches were great. I'd never driven on an ocean beach before, until I visited St. Augustine. lol

I think there's also a really old tavern or brewery in the old town portion, too.
Man, I miss that place, it was fun!
