Forgive me if I left out any systems from the list.
Note: I did not include CD-i, since that was released in 1991 (not 1993 as some sources say). I also excluded other early 1990s systems that were still on the market in the mid-1990s.
I excluded handhelds except for the Virtual Boy (which I personally don't consider to be a true handheld).
I included Sega 32X even though it was an add-on.
FM Towns Marty, Atari Jaguar and LaserActive were released in 1993. I wasn't sure whether to include them, but I thought "the more the merrier" so I included them.
For those who haven't heard of PC-FX (which I imagine includes nearly everyone on here), it was not a computer, but a console released by NEC. It is perhaps best known for its adult titles.

I'm torn between PS1 and N64 but I think the PS1 has a slight edge.

The 64. Nothing beat nights with Goldeneye, Mario Kart, Ocarina of Time, Smash Bros.

N64. Played that almost every night during the summer of 1998.

I'll go with the PS1. Mainly because it was my first ever console. As a 4 year old, i was facinated with it.

I only owned a Nintendo 64 back then. I have a lot of games from back then.
I'm going back and playing some PlayStation games. There was some really great stuff on that console. Of course I been only getting must buys. I didn't really have to go through any duds that came out back then.

I'm honestly torn between the PS1 and N64, as I was a huge fan of both. I voted for the N64 because it doesn't get nearly enough love. And, you know, Goldeneye, Ocarina of Time and Perfect Dark...

The 64. Nothing beat nights with Goldeneye, Mario Kart, Ocarina of Time, Smash Bros. Goldeneye sucks. Smash Bros sucks. And there are so many better PS1 games than those two crappy games it's not even funny.

PlayStation. So many good games it was ridiculous.
Resident Evil 1, 2, 3 Silent Hill Final Fantasy VII Koudelka Street Fighter Alpha 3 Tomb Raider WWF Attitude Parasite Eve WWF Smackdown 2 Marvel vs Capcom Bloody Roar 1, 2 Mega Man 8 Mega Man X 4
That's just off the top of my head. Anyone that claims the N64 was better was just a kid back then playing their kiddy Nintendo system that mommy bought them.
