The Mummy (2017)
Total Lifetime Grosses Domestic: $79,948,195 19.9% + Foreign: $322,370,628 80.1% = Worldwide: $402,318,823 I wonder what a good movie would make

Huh, that is impressive I suppose. It'd probably done maybe $600 or $700M if it turned out...better.

Looks like they may have just about broken even... at best. But as a wise man once said, nobody invests money in a movie in hopes of breaking even.

In other words, the movie was the Warcraft of 2017. A critical disaster that greatly underperformed in the states, but was saved from being a complete bomb thanks to the magic of the overseas market.
Universal should still probably rethink that Dark Universe of theirs.

Yet the Magic of the overseas market has yet to greenlight Warcraft 2

The movie is a success. Hopefully, the studio will fix some of the issues as they movie forward with this universe.
