This really works. Get a seasoned log about 26" to 32" long and about 10" across. Take a chainsaw and cut down to about 5" from the bottom. Make three cuts. It should look something like this: Then put a little bit of lighter fluid or kerosene down the slots you cut. Put small dry twigs on top. Light the twigs. Sit back and have a beer and before you know it you got this: Once the flames went down we got our iron skillet peeled and sliced some potatoes. Put butter in skillet then the potatoes. They were very good. You could make about anything you wanted. Looked like this: If you were say going camping and did not have a lot of wood these will work as a small campfire. The one we tried lasted about 3 1/2 hours. The length of time it burns would depend on how big and what kind of wood you used.
