Highest Grossing Comic Book ORIGIN movie ever. Only domestically, Spidey still has it beat by over $20 million worldwide, still nothing to sneeze at just not accurate to what a lot of people are claiming. Wonder Woman's Japan Box Office is still trickling in (it just released there a couple of weeks ago). It is possible that the film may make that $20 million before the end of the year. Speaking of domestic BO, Wonder Woman only needs to make $3 million more to overtake films like "Captain America: Civil War" and "Iron Man 3."

Considering it's already out on digital and will be out on DVD in about a couple weeks, I don't see that happening

It's possible, but only one film based on a DC property has ever made over $16.5m in Japan - Dark Knight Rises. DC do not do spectacularly well in Japan screenrant.com/wonder-woman-box-office-global-total/"Wonder Woman’s $3.4 million in Japan was bigger than most male-dominated superhero movies, doubling the takes of such films as Captain America: The First Avenger, The Avengers and Thor in their opening weekend in the country."Not only did it earn less than half of what SMH did in it's first week...it earnt less in its first than SMH did in it's 3rd week.

Yeah, that's not gonna happen, loser. Its not going to pass Ironman 3's world wide total, which is what it needed to do to beat it.

Yeah, that's not gonna happen, loser. Its not going to pass Ironman 3's world wide total, which is what it needed to do to beat it. It's happening, loser. Wonder Woman needs just $75,000 to pass Iron Man 3. Considering that Wonder Woman grossed at least $180,000 every day last week, Wonder Woman will have more than the $75,000 to pass Iron Man 3 by the end of Monday.

Wonder Woman needs over $400 million to beat Ironman 3. It'll never make that.

At the very least, credit has to be given for the insane amount of money the film has been making domestically. As far as the overseas numbers are concerned, there's definitely room for growth with the sequel.

That should count for something.

DC movies generally aren't as popular as Marvel movies overseas.
I'm not sure why specifically unless it's because the brand didn't really tap into some of the markets but for how much money these movies make domestically (where they've all made a lot of money) they don't make as much money as they should elsewhere.
Doctor Strange and Thor 2 for example. Not nearly as successful as Man of Steel, Suicide Squad or Wonder Woman domestically but they made more money overseas.
Wonder Woman made about as much as Iron Man 3 and Civil War domestically but overseas it's only made about half as much.

So Wonder Woman is actually behind Suicide Squads overseas gross and that's with $90 million from China.
