You know, guys like The Angry Video Game Nerd, The Nostalgia Critic, PeanutButterGamer, and so on and so forth. Watch any?
I used to watch The Nostalgia Critic, but... eh, the term "jumping the shark" comes to mind.
These days, I'm more of a Bobsheaux guy. How about you?

I like to listen to Tyrone Magnus and Grace Randolph to hear vastly different views. Jeremy Jahns sometimes, but I really like Collider Movie Talk.

I forgot to include Oliver Harper a part of my list. He's a U.K. reviewer who does an insane amount of research and apart from giving very objective reviews of films, both end and new, he also offers a lot of insight on the production history and creative changes films underwent from their conceptional stage to finishized version. He's quite an interesting watch if you're interested in that sort of thing like I am.

I like redlettermedia's various shows, Half in the bag, best of the worst, re:View
i really like the exploring series from GoodBadFlicks. He has some decent insight into some cult favourites of mine.
and not really movie reviews, but I love Joe Dante's website/web series Trailers from Hell

They have genuine production value, experience, don't exist in some kind of hard core liberal echo chamber, and their Half In The Bag series is the only online review show that provides substantive criticism rather than yelling and snarking at low hanging fruit. In fact half in the bag is the closest thing the 21st century has to the Siskel and Ebert show of old.

My three main ones; Beyond the Trailer (Grace Randolph), Stuckman, and Red Letter Media. But I can check out several others on a whim like Screen Junkies, EpicVoiceGuy (Jon Bailey), Jahns, Kevin Smith or Andre/Black Nerd.

I've noticed Pat seems a lot more cynical as of late.

That sounds more like Spoony. How would you know? Spoony doesn't do jack shit anymore. He's too busy pretending to be too sick and depressed to work.

Nothing tops peak Nostalgia Critic for me.
I'm also a fan of The Cinema Snob and Phelous.
Wrestling With Wregret is very good (all around better and more informative than WhatCulture) for wrestling fans new and old.

Ah, yes, I remember the good ol' days of The Nostalgia Critic, too. Wish he'd never come back.

Ah, yes, I remember the good ol' days of The Nostalgia Critic, too. Wish he'd never come back. Not only should he not have ever brought the character back but he should have ended it a full year or more earlier than he did. Which even he admitted to after the "series finale" released. The problem is Doug Walker is not terribly talented. He's a one trick pony. So when his next venture flamed out almost immediately because it was awful falling back on Nostalgia Critic was really the only option he had. And the shtick has long since warn thin which is why barely anybody seems to be watching these days in comparison to the viewer numbers he pulled in the past. ...hopefully this didn't come off too mean. I don't wanna sound like those bitter shitposting fuck at DHL who just live to shit on NC and his ilk. Haha.

No, I understand being disappointed with him entirely. I think he should have taken the number of NC episodes down from a weekly schedule to one every two weeks during the original run so he wouldn't get burned out. As for ending it, he SHOULD have announced he was going to at least a year before he did. Then six months before the end of the show, he should have released a demo reel of... Demo Reel, to be critiqued by the viewers so he and his crew would have a better version of the show ready when the time came.
His mishandling of the NC's "finale" is the whole reason his next gig failed. He didn't tell anyone he was ending it and he didn't release a Pilot Episode ahead of time to test it out and see how needed to be changed before the official version went up. If he took these steps, I have no doubt Demo Reel would have done just fine.

In fairness though I think a lot of people knew the end was coming before it did. Especially since he spent like the last 3 or 4 months of that first run of episodes doing crossovers with everybody in the world.
But hey at least Doug is still producing content even if I don't think it's particularly good. That's more than I can say for spoony, who has every excuse in the world to never do any work or produce anything in spite of continuing to ask people to fund him through patreon.

Yeah, pretty much. At least Doug does work for those views and donations he gets.

Nostalgia Critic is the only one I watch, but some of his newer stuff with his posse I just despise. It was better when it was just him in the review and he stuck to what he was reviewing.

And back when he did some actual research instead of just assuming things. I'll never forgive him for that "Event Horizon fans are just sports jocks pretending to be real horror fans" comment.
