I understand that it has something of a cult following. I just recently watched The Thing (another Carpenter movie) and I loved it. Is this one worth checking out? I saw it for pretty cheap at a movie store near(ish) me. So... Have you watched it yet? Yeah, back on the first page my reaction is a few replies up from several weeks back. You must've just missed it! (By the way, I actually bumped that initial score up to a 7.5/10 after I watched it once more) |

Not Carpenter’s best, but the humor and action is great. |

Somehow I have managed never to see Big Trouble in Little China. I was certainly well aware of its existence, and I was a kid in the '80s who watched pretty much everything so how that one always evaded me, I am not sure. I should get around to it, finally, but am afraid that it is one of those 'you had to be there' type films.
