darla and druisila were both incredible. deliciously so. but Faith , like Angel walked the fine line between good and evil at times in both realms as they explored the depths of their character. Faith allowed herself to enjoy aspects of her calling, even the thrill of it. the episode where she and buffy switch places is one of my favorites. also the episode where xander has an unusual day. driven by instincts. she drew closer to the edge as she yielded to her darker side until it almost destroyed her. only angel knew the depths of that despair and how to rescue her from the brink. she finally allowed herself to trust enough to "let someone in" and feel loved when she was buffy with riley. it frightened her but it also helped to change her. she rocked that world

Faith, but Glory and Drusilla are awesome as well.

Spike, the mayor, and heel Angelus; guess it's obvious I'm only a fan of the first four (well, really three) seasons of the show.
As for worst? In particular, I find Glory overpowered and super-lame.

Glory. She had a wonderful sense if humor.

I have to go with Glory -- I loved the fact that she was all over the map. Sometimes shrewd, usually clueless, alternately evil/cruel/civil. She was a lot of fun.
It was a tough decision though -- I was always fond of Darla's rather perfect come-hither seductiveness combined with pure ruthlessness. In the end, though, I felt that her tenure on Buffy was a bit too short to compete with Glory.

Drusilla - there was just enough sanity in her craziness.

Drusilla - there was just enough sanity in her craziness. One of my favourite Drusilla moments was from the Season 2 episode of Angel titled 'Reunion'.

Drusilla because she was evil and funny.
Faith went back and forward a little between hero and villain but I also liked her due to her being the only one who was quite realistic about the whole slayer deal.

Glory. She was physically the most like Buffy (with a polar opposite personality) and actually managed to cause her death.

This is so hard! I had a hard time choosing between Faith, Darla, Dru, and Glory, I love them all. They were all great in their own respects, but if I have to choose, I'll go with Faith (despite her redemption, or maybe because of it) because she has a wonderful story arc on both Buffy and Angel, and S3 is my favorite.

I really like Faith's arc throughout the series, from beginning to end. So she'd be my favorite female villain, followed very closely by Darla, and then Drusilla.

I have to say Drusilla. I think Dru was underused and would have been a far better villain for Season 4 or 6 than Adam and Warren and I also would have liked to have seen more fight scenes between her and Buffy.
