Ok so I was just watching the show on Netflix, and i'm surprised to say I really can't knock it. Aside from the animation throwing off the drama some, it actually captures the spirit of the original show a great deal, and a few of the voice overs sound the same, with the most obvious being Lily Tomlin as Ms. Frizzle. She's not the school teacher anymore, but her old class is still in good hands, as her sister(voiced by Kate McKinnon) has the same free-spirit attitude as she did.
I think i'll be sticking around for this show if it's a success.
I watched this show in March on Netflix. It is ok. It is not as good as the original the Magic School Bus show. I am glad that Ms. Frizzle is the one that answers questions at the end of each Episode of the new show. I do wish they would give Ms. Frizzle a bigger part on the new show in stead of just having her answer the questions at the end of each Episode. Ms. Frizzle's sister as the teacher on the newer show is ok, but I wish that they kept Ms. Frizzle as the teacher for the newer show. A few months ago, I noticed that a second season of the newer show was released. I am surprised that it was brought back for a second season. I assumed it was only going to be a one season reboot. I will make a point to watch the second season of the newer show sometime. I agree. The animation for the newer show is not very good. Many cartoons these days use cheap computer animation. The original show was a lot better than the newer show
