www.imdb.com/title/tt0052493/?ref_=nv_sr_1Entertaining, well written, and surprisingly accurate look at the early years of manned space travel before they happened. It can now be seen on the Comet network on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

In Melbourne Australia, it began being shown in January 1960, aired at 7:00PM on Tuesdays on GTV-9. It was preceded by news and followed by "Laramie". It aired against "Boots and Saddles" on HSV-7 and news on ABV-2.
In Sydney, it began being shown in February 1960, aired at 7:00PM on Sundays on ATN-7, preceded by "Quick Draw McGraw" and followed by "Leave it to Beaver". It aired against news on ABN-2 and "Disneyland" on TCN-9.
I do not know if and when it was shown in Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. I do know it was never shown in Canberra.
I'm also the only remaining person on the planet who still refers to Australian TV stations by their call-signs.

But I might check it out.
