But you already have privacy in a public restroom. Wait. Do they look like this where you live? If so, I see your point. Still missing the point. Women go into the loo for many things besides the obvious. Anything from talking to each other in confidence to having a good cry. Having a man barge in or a fake woman especially if a woman is changing her 3 years old daughter's undies would be terrible. Didn't you read the Herald article that I linked to? This aren't the purposes for a bathroom though. There are plenty of locations for depressed women to have a good cry or talk to others.
Maybe they could involve a dude or two in the conversations since there is such an apparent fear of them knowing stuff about women. This could bridge communication gaps!

As far as the baby changing thing. I was always scared to use those things for fear there was some 3 day old baby poop on them.
However, this may come as a shock but most guys with daughters have probably changed a diaper or two themselves and if there is a creeper specifically looking for that scenario, they are pretty patient.

I don't feel like hitting the edit button..
I'm starting to think people don't actually know what public restrooms look like and particularly the unisex kind.
In the more sucky countries in the world, there is no such thing as privacy or maybe pee troughs are abundant?

In the UK most baby changing toilets have locks so I fail to see why a 'man' would barge in. However, those same toilets are unisex and I don't see the problem with a man changing his daughters underwear. Most unisex bathrooms I have seen are single toilets with a lock so no one will be barging in. I do love your stereotype of women, so '80's dear. A 3 year old is not a baby dear, and luckily we don't have "unisex bathrooms" here. We have male and female toilets and parent's rooms. Let's see how you manage when your step child turns 3 and wets herself in a mall where there is not a parents room. As you are fully aware my daughter is not my step child so stop being ignorant and rude. As she has been dry for 2 months including night time I don't see the problem and if she does all our ' shopping centres' ( mall is so American don't you think?) have parent rooms. So you are telling me parent rooms ( what we call baby changing rooms) are not unisex? They are in the UK. The problem here dear is your mind immediately assumes the worse in people. Such a shame to live in your world.

Buckle up. In the course of the "Just say whatever comes to mind" type of responses you'll be getting in disagreeing with this individual, "step kid" is light fare.

We have crossed swords many a time. She is fully aware my daughter is mine and that I nearly died Be Use of the pregnancy. She is always accusing me of one thing or another ( queue facile remarks about me lying!) calling me names or generally being obtuse but at the end of the day, I am fully aware the reason why she does this is to draw attention away from her constantly being incorrect, plain out wrong or telling untruths and being caught out.

I know that, but I am being realistic. There are times when the involvement of "dudes" is the problem.

Did everyone in America catch thick? The guidelines for transgender use of bathroom were that, guidelines. Trump has removed them so that the issue is dealt with at state level. None of the states that have enacted laws to protect trans student have been forced to rescind them. So as long as you are in a particular state, you can pee freely! Different discrimination rules aren't stupid at all! That is the consequence of a Federal system. The guidelines were painfully naive and open to abuse. If you are a transwomen, who lives as a man, then use the gents. If you live as a woman use the ladies. IT isn't rocket science and doesn't require legislation. In the case of schools, then that should be worked out at school level because every case will be different and the numbers are so low that it isn't going to be some kind of administrative burden on the school boards.

I am talking about toilets , not the parents room. How about you just find and read the sodding Herald article you have been dodging then get back to me. In the meantime stop being deliberately obtuse thanks in advance.

Are you telling me that is a f-m being? Sadly if so, it's just an uglified woman as her chromosomes are not changed by a mastectomy and a shaved head. You can talk at great length about sexual fetishes but you have to use the euphemism "restroom"? Weird.

Best exchange in the whole thread, though it's doubtful the latter party was cognizant of what it revealed.

I am trying a 3rd time to reply to Londonbird - try reading the Herald article I linked to and stop attacking me personally. I am not attacking you personally I am attacking your bigoted opinion. I had already read the Herald link but it is an opinion piece and therefore not relevant. I will take renowned psychologists and psychiatrists and their research over you and your opinion any day.

I just pick and choose what I read. I'll read the article and in the meantime you may want to get your thoughts together. instead of talking as if you are filling in bits and pieces of an article people may not want to read. I think it's pretty obvious that you can understand what I'm saying and should just figure out that we in no way see eye to eye on this. But again, because I'm a nice Christian, I'll read the article!
