Who was in that one ? It's a 1973 drama thriller starring Donald Sutherland and Julie Christie. They portray a couple coming to grief with the death of their daughter, then get caught up in certain events (I don't want to post any spoilers). There were rumors that the sex scene looks so real because it was unsimulated.

I saw this movie on TV a couple years back and really liked it. I especially loved the song by Russian Red called ‘Loving Strangers’ which was featured throughout the movie a number of times.
I’ve watched the film a few times since and have it recorded so that I can watch it again whenever (I’m kicking myself that I didn’t buy it on DVD when it was still available in-store here – and it was real cheap too).
I’ve enjoyed Elena Anaya in a few different movies and I thought both she and Natasha Yarovenko were really good together in this movie.

After seeing "ROOM IN ROME", I honestly am not sure if I will ever be able to look at Doctor Poison (Elena Anaya) the same way again. LOL!

It is a great movie and is majorly underrated in comparison to 'Blue is the Warmest Colour.' A lot of people don't know it exists and are only discovering it for the first time now 'cause it didn't get a lot of promotion when it first came out and I only found out about it through one of my friends who loves the movie. I have it on DVD now and you can get it for $19.15 on Amazon but you will have to convert the dollars and add postage to the final figure. www.amazon.com/Room-Rome-Elena-Anaya/dp/B004EI2NM2/ref=ice_ac_b_dpb_twi_dvd_1?s=movies-tv&ie=UTF8&qid=1507013650&sr=1-1&keywords=room+in+rome+dvd
