Thanks! Those are great episodes you mentioned. My problem is I don't remember the names of the episodes but I remember them by plot. I looked up the ones you picked. I like "It's a good life". Also "five characters in search of an exit". Talking tina episode was also evil. I'm sure if I looked up all the episode descriptions I'd come up with a top 10 list. I think I'll do that on a rainy day.

Don't worry about not knowing every episode title of this show . There are after all 156 episodes and 5 seasons worth to this entire show as is . So it can be very easy to lose track even some of the episode titles can be very alike in certain ways also . Sometimes I get these mixed up as is and I own the entire collection . Looking forward to one day viewing your top 10 TZ Favorite episodes here as well jayhn1111 . As for my own " TZ Top 10 List " after all these years it still changes around except the first 2 I mentioned above here - those never change for me .

Hi mszanadu! Great to see you hear on this site. And thanks so much for getting them to create this board for the Twilight Zone. This is truly one of the greatest TV shows of all time! It's very difficult for me to pick favorite episodes because I love so many of them.
BTW, I meant to ask you, have you ever seen a movie called "World Without End" (1956)? I saw it recently on TCM and thought you would enjoy it.

It's great to see that there's a place for just The Twilight Zone.
I find it hard to pick just one or even a handful of Zones. That said, I'll give it a whirl:
Where Is Everybody?
What You Need
A Nice Place To Visit
Elegy
The After Hours
The Howling Man
The Hitch-Hiker
Nightmare As A Child
The Whole Truth
The Grave
Will The Real Martian Please Stand Up?
A Passage For Trumpet
The Midnight Sun
Night Call
Stopover In A Quiet Town
Ring-A-Ding Girl

My pleasure it's really good to see some passionate fans like yourself here. My plan is to get the whole dvd collection at some point. Do you like the 1 hour episodes they did? I think there may be a few of those I never saw. Also what about the updated series that came later? I've never watched any of those.

It's also very nice to chat here with good folks like you who are just as interested with classic TV as I am . I would highly recommend purchasing the entire collection on DVD ( you could get it on Blu-ray if you want to but IMPO it's a bit more expense than DVD ? ) . I bought this one a few years ago " The Complete Definitive Collection " on DVD . It has a lot of awesome extras too - worth every penny and I never tire of it either . Also it may be a bit less in price from when I bought mine back in the day too . I really do like the hour long episodes too - some very interesting storylines indeed ( IMPO - never a dull moment with this show ) . As for the other newer or revised versions of TZ the 1980's version was good and the others much of the same too . Of course IMPO the others do not surpass this original show but if you are interested in viewing any of the other TZ's just out of curiosity - I say go for it anyway .

Anybody know which is the one with the Old Man and his hunting dog in the after life? That's the earliest episode I can remember watching.

This is a really wonderful message board all around . I agree there are so many excellent episode choices for this fine show it can be quite overwhelming to make just one final decision on it ( been doing that with my list for years ? ) . As for your film recommendation - " World Without End " from 1956 thanks so much for this also . The title does sounds familiar but I don't believe I have seen it yet of course now I will looking out for it on TCM also . Thanks so much for your reply taylorfirst1 .

I nominate mszanadu as the room hostess and our leader. She made this all possible There was an episode I was thinking about today and maybe you guys remember it. My memory is a little fuzzy about it though. But it had to do with a guy that worked in an office, had a wife and family and all that. Then he comes to find out that that was all within the confines of a tv show he was in and that wasn't his real life. Also another one where a guy completely loses his identity. He wakes up and his wife doesn't know who he is and nobody in the whole town including his own mother knows him.

Thank you, mszanadu. Even as a kid, I found The Hunt's ending quite chilling. That they were so close to hell. Yikes.

Here also was my subject post from the Suggestion Box Board - Sub-board Request Here Please The episode you were asking about is called - A World of Difference Also here is the other episode you mentioned here too - Person or Persons Unknown These are another set of intriguing & favorite episodes of mine too - in my top 10 TZ List somewhere . Again thanks so much jayhn1111 .

You're most welcome preachcaleb and thanks again for your reply . *** SPOILERS HERE BELOW *** I guess if Hyder Simpson didn't have his trustworthy companion Rip the dog in the afterlife with him we can only guess what a sad ending that would have been for Hyder . Although the very end was wonderful when he met the Angel it certainly meant that Hyder and Rip were on their way to their new home .

Ring-A-Ding Girl These are another excellent set of episodes here too telegonus . If you have the collection on DVD or Blu-ray you can watch these episodes in this order as a mini marathon of your choice too . I do that sometimes with my TZ collection and it makes this show even more fun to watch ( also get my TZ Binge Watch Fix too ) . Plus you won't have to wait for the Big SyFy Marathons twice a year although that is a lot of fun too it's worth it just watch and discuss here with fellow TZ Fans . Thanks telegonus for your reply .
