I'm sticking with the 90s version. Kevin was very sick and made him terrifying when stalking his girlfriend. I never got any of that from Pearl. Tori was better as the leading lady Jessica who was natively in love. The remake added a weird supernatural twist that wasn't needed. If they changed the titles, Id never suspect it was a remake.

I voted "Neither as entertaining as the title" -- seriously that title has become a classic all of its own! Talk show hosts even made fun of it back in the day!
I haven't seen the remake, but nothing beats Tori Spelling and "TV movie" for genuine 90s cheese-fest nostalgia, so that's the only version for me.

Surprisingly I didn't even know there was a very recent remake of this now-classic TV Movie   . I guess it's been awhile since I have watched the channel LIFETIME   . However I did vote for the 1996 version because of Tori Spelling also and it's the only one I have seen of the 2 movies as well  .
