...besides The Sixth Sense.
Shyamalan is an interesting talent, and I always feel that if the consensus (whatever that means... Still, one must credit it somewhat, as Shyamalan was bandied about as "the new Spielberg" and asked to do credit-card commercials just to capitalize on his name) hadn't overrated him in the first place, he'd be considered a very strong director even now.
Still!
Your favorite of his pictures other than his much-ballyhooed "masterpiece," The Sixth Sense. What say you?
*I am aware that Shyamalan did not direct Devil; nevertheless, as his style and spirit hang over it as much as Hawks's did over The Thing from Outer Space, Spielberg's did over Poltergeist, and Burton's did over The Nightmare Before Christmas, I've decided to keep it on the list as a "Shyamalan movie."

I like "Signs" best (other than "Sixth Sense"). There are a lot of cool moments in it. "Is douche a swear word?"

"I'm insane with anger. I'm losing my mind." I really like Signs but I voted for Unbreakable. I know it's preference but other than those 2 movies and of course The Sixth Sense, all his other movies are kind of shite.

It was also cute when Graham walks into a bedroom upstairs and sees his two kids wearing tinfoil hats. After all three jump when the phone rings, he tells them they all need to eat some fruit or something.

There are a lot of funny/cute moments considering the prevailing sense of unease and eventually dread of what is coming. M. Night was on fire with those 3 movies. I wonder what happened? Devil was decent but he didn't direct it so I'm not sure why it's included. Everything else is pretty bad.

The Happening is a masterpiece closely followed by The Last Airbender.

I did actually like "The Happening" but I could see why others didn't like it much. He did kinda fizzle quite a bit after his first several movies.

The Happening is a masterpiece closely followed by The Last Airbender. You liked The Happening - so did I, but it didn't seem very well received overall. I thought it was pretty good.

Also, I liked The Last Airbender but that one didn't seem to go over well either.
