Anyone playing it and what do you think of it?
I don't have an Xbone/PC, but I really want to play Cuphead.

It's beautiful looking, rock hard and very old-school. It's still lots of fun, if you don't mind being endlessly frustrated by cheap deaths (and you will be). It has a steep learning curve pretty much from the off, but you do learn.
A lot of people have likened it to run-and-gunners like Contra, although it immediately reminded me of Ghosts 'n Goblins. That'll be those cheap deaths again.

If I had to sum it up: Come for the art, stay for the music.
It plays like Contra and has solid controls to match but it leans heavily on its aesthetics to make an impression and not so much its gameplay, which is mostly boss rush and a bit mediocre at that. If not for the art direction, it would be forgettable.

Yeah it's certainly a great looking game. The music is fantastic.
And I like the game play. I like the fact that this game is really hard. I been having a blast co-oping it with my friend.
I'd recommend that you get it.
