Can't decide between Meatballs and Caddyshack. After those would be Ed Wood.
Edit: Nevermind. I just remembered Wild Things!

I have to go with Stripes and meatballs. Groundhog day was great too. I do enjoy Caddyshack but It's hard to really call it a bill murray movie. They kinda just threw him in there at the last minute and all his scenes were ad lib. Cool stuff though

This is an especially difficult one for me. Nevertheless...
Favorite Bill Murray movie: Groundhog Day
Favorite Bill Murray performance: Ghostbusters

I'm surprised so many people leave off stripes and meatballs Stripes and Meatballs are both funny, especially Stripes, but they aren't as good comedies as Groundhog Day, Ghostbusters, and What About Bob?

I haven't seen What about Bob so I can't comment on that. Groundhog day I really enjoy. I've seen it twice and will probably watch it again at some point. And again after that.... I guess I'm just partial to Stripes and Meatballs. Those 2 have been in my top 10 favorite movies since I was 10 years old. I will give Ghostbusters another look though. I watched it once when it was in the theater. I didn't love it at the time, but that was a long time ago

What About Bob? is uniquely funny, Murray is hilarious in it, and Dreyfuss is pure genius. Ghostbusters is a lot of peoples' favorite, and funny in it's own unique way, but it's sci-fi and spooky and not everybody likes that. But Murray makes the movie what it is

That it definitely is. I certainly wouldn't put down your picks or anybody else's. My parents love what about Bob. I will check that out though. Everybody raves about that one. I don't remember specifically what my problem was with Ghostbusters. I think I just felt it was a comedy trying to be sci fi or vice versa and it came off silly to me? I was 13 last I saw it so it wouldn't be fair for me to judge it now until I watch it again.

It certainly is. I've found that I generally like everything that I liked as a kid, but the stuff I didn't like I can come to appreciate it later in life in some cases. So I'll try to watch it with a more mature brain. At least I hope so in my case lol

1. Groundhog Day - Funny thing, I have a VHS copy, I put it in because I wanted to just check my good ol VCR, I literally was just gonna check it and I ended up watching the whole darn thing. It's that good. 2. Ghostbusters - My nostalgia is getting me. Just classic. 3. Caddyshack - So many great comedians all in one place. 4. Lost in Translation - A really good role for him, shame he didnt win the Oscar. 5. Ghostbusters 2 - I know, it isnt as good as the first, but come on, it's Ghostbusters. We all wanted to see a three....and well....we all know what we got instead 6. Scrooged - I saw this movie in a VHS bargain bin for 1.00. Now it's a XMas classic, and I wont lie, I love me a good XMas classic. 7. What About Bob - Just a funny film throughout. 8. Stripes - Good Stuff 9. Meatballs 10. Ed Wood
I couldnt do Zombieland as I didnt feel that's fair. That was just a cameo from him. If we wanna go cameos, come on, Little Shop of Horrors!

01. Groundhog Day (1993) 02. Stripes (1981) 03. Scrooged (1988) 04. What About Bob? (1991) 05. Kingpin (1996) 06. Ghostbusters II (1989) 07. Mad Dog and Glory (1993) 08. Ghostbusters (1984) 09. Quick Change (1990) 10. Ed Wood (1994)
Some of these titles are not Bill Murray films, but he does have a rather huge part either as the villian or well without him, they would just not be that good or funny, in the first place. From Rushmore and onwards, I lost a bit of interest, as his collaboration with Wes Anderson are not bad movies, just not my type of comedy.
