Very sad indeed when such nice people leave the world at such a young age. Hi AJ, that is very sad if true. I liked Chime a lot, enjoyed conversing with her

I Can't remember the last time I logged in to here. Still around but a very infrequent visitor.

vomisacaasi not posting much anymore is understandable. Senior citizens like him need their rest.

I saw Ruth was online yesterday but she didn't post. She probably read a few threads and was intimidated by the scientific knowledge of moon and Arlon.

Are you visiting Australia again this winter? Great, I hope you have a terrific time there. All good here, extremely busy but just back from a relaxing holiday in Zakynthos. My next sojourn to Australia is Jan 19, so a little ways off yet. Hope you are keeping well.

Here also there were lots of cases of flu last month but somehow I escaped.

It's 7:59 am Melbourne Time and I am getting ready to leave for office. Prospects of one more boring day ahead for me. I will return home in about 12 hours and then think about my future and get more depressed. Luckily I am going to India on a one and half months vacation (leaving on November 18th and returning on jan 4th) and I will have some time out of this perpetual boredom. How much I wish to leave this boring city forever....But after returning from India I will again have to face the boredom.

Hey, I have NEVER been to India; you are incredibly fortunate to have six weeks there! I had an incredibly boring job for thirteen years, but it kept a roof over my head and food on the table. Enjoy your time in India, bring back photos to keep in your office (I did this after a ten day vacation in Hawaii) and remember the good times you had there. Perhaps that will give you a mini-vacation from the boredom of your job in Melbourne (another city and country I have never been to). Is there a reason you cannot stay in India?

I returned home about 45 minutes ago at 7:36 PM. I cannot stay in India because I wouldn't get a good salary unless I have a couple of years of work experience abroad. So for that reason I have to stay in Australia for 2 years or at least 1.5 years more. I actually feel extremely bored in Australia. My plan is to go to USA or UK as soon as I get an opportunity but return to India ultimately when I will be able to get a good salary in India. Yeah, I agree with you that good memories stay with us forever. I have visited some good places over the years and also remember them with fond memories. I think travelling is third most important thing that gives me pleasure (after food and sports). This current tour to India which starts this Saturday will be a great respite for me from this current phase of extreme depression. I am missing you too as we have not met on RFS for a long time and you are not on GOT board either.

@aj-June
I don't tend to frequent GOT in the offseason. I'm sure I'll be more active once the new season is announced.
Started watching Shameless...and it's entertaining if a little frustrating at times.

Yeah, I know you will be back on GOT board when either book is launched or some news comes for new season. Probably we will meet on this board on OT topic when NFL playoffs come!

Just 16 hours and i will leave for India! This is first December since 2005 that I will spend in my small hometown. I am feeling so relieved and so young again. I really needed this break. Will stay till 3rd Jan.
