Best case scenario, it's got positive notice. Most likely case, it will be received as well as Man of Steel or perhaps X-MEN: Apocalypse;very mixed reviews. I don't see anything that will make it as outright panned as BVS or SS.

It's gonna be a fucking piece of shit, the level of incompetence coming from Zack will finally end his career within WB aka his entire future. Honestly when this movie is torn apart by critics and fans WB will realize that they need to reboot after Aquaman, and will drop their fucking pretentious angle.
But in all honesty i think it will be good, or at least better than BvS with a tighter story.....granted I think it will still splinter off more than it should, but overall will be tighter, and will fall in the 67 -72% on RT.

This, minus the part where Snyder's career goes into the toilet. If anything the movie will flop, and he'll land on his feet somewhere else while Warner picks up the shambles of DCEU, calls Chris Nolan, and leaves him a series of desperate voicemails, which he deletes and ignores. Again.

Again. well i was just bothering in the top portion, however if JL does poorly, on all fronts, he's going away for a while, then do very small budget films and will reemerge a few years later. because i think if other studios see a director not producing proper results.....they'll back away from them.

The logic of what you wrote seems so sound, and yet these directors are like NFL coaches -- after establishing some unspoken degree of "tenure," it seems they just fail upwardly and keep getting work.

Everything I've seen from trailers for this movie look like pure crap. The one thing that looked good to me was the water crashing around AquaMan. AquaMan is literally the only thing that I am remotely looking forward to in regards to that film. As far as reception for the rest of people? I have little doubt that it will make money. DC has it's hard core fans that will go see it opening weekend because it's flat out The Justice League. A lot of them won't care that the previous movies have sucked and a lot of them have convinced themselves that they were awesome or legit believe that they were to each their own. However from a critical stand point? I have little reason to believe it'll be rated fresh on Rotten Tomatoes. Zack Snyder only has 3 Fresh movies in his history and none since 2009. He has a 75, a 65, and a 60 which is hardly anything to brag about. Since then his best has been Man of Steel at 55% Rotten.
This would be my over all guess of it's reception
RT Score: 45% Rotten
Audience Score: 65%
Domestic Gross: $360 million-ish
Worldwide Gross: $970 million-ish
In the end I think it'll make money because of the loyal DC fan base and because it's The Justice League for the first time but the bad reviews and previous bad films leading up to it will hurt with the general audience but not the loyalists who'd pay to see it no matter what which will lead it to not reaching the 1 billion threshold.
