NPR got a hold of one of Jim Bakker's food buckets that you are expected to survive on during the Great Tribulation. Apocalypse ChowI used to wonder how people got sucked into Amway scams and the more ridiculous cults, then you have situations like this where you'd expect any thinking individual to realize "He's milking fear to take my money", and you're suddenly surprised there aren't MORE branches of Amway and ridiculous cults. Geez, Cine, have you learned nothing from John McClane in "Die Hard"? And then in "A Good Day to Die Hard", his son realizes that the Russians lied to him about their cause, and remarks in shock, "you mean this was just about the money? And John replies, "When has it not been about the money?" (IMDb didn't have the actual quote available, so this was a paraphrase on my part.) So, in conclusion, it is always about the money.

You gotta make the money first. Then when you get the money, you get the power. Then when you get the power, then you get the women.

You gotta make the money first. Then when you get the money, you get the power. Then when you get the power, then you get the women. Or be born with the money... But, other than that, in light of current news headlines, your statement makes sense. So, it's all about getting women? From a man's perspective. From a woman's perspective, it's about getting power so she doesn't have to get a man in order to have money. Hey, I haven't had my morning caffeine yet, so I may have to come back to edit...

Well, don't the many sects of Christianity and Islam count (not to mention the defunct assemblies managed by Egyptian, Greek, Babylonian and Hebrew priests)?
