For Halloween: the scariest Doctor stories. By that I mean creepy, dark, and mysterious rather than action packed and suspenseful. Some of my picks are:
Classic series
Inferno Pyramids of Mars The Seeds of Doom The Curse of Fenric
New Series:
The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances Blink Midnight

Any ep with Bill is scary enough Yeah, yeah. Every companion the Doctor has had during the Internet era gets the same kind of crap. Doesn't matter what the quality of the acting, scripts, anything. Why do people continue to watch the show year after year if they hate everything about it. My fervent hope is that everybody who has threatened to boycott the series because of the new casting will do just that. Stop watching. Stop posting. Leave us alone.

I can be agitated that one my fav series has turned into this mess that it is and I can vent my frustrations here or anywhere else I feel like it. Nobody said you couldn't. What you can NOT expect, though, is no push back. You are free to say anything you want on this board and I am free to answer you back.

I know that Halloween was last week, but I just stumbled upon this old video.
Doctor Who: Top 10 Scary Classic Episodes
As it turns out, I own five out of ten. And surprisingly, "Horror of Fang Rock" is not listed.

Yep, its true.
Sorry, NO companion during the NuWho era will suck as much as "Bill". I couldn't create a WORSE companion if I tried.
Who said I'm watching? I haven't watched a new episode of Doctor Who since "The Return of Doctor Misterio" There is no way I'd subject myself to watching the SJW garbage with "Bill".
You BBC apologists just don't understand how a BOYCOTT works, I guess. According to you, once Martin Luther King decided to lead the Montgomery bus boycott in protest of segregation, he should have just quietly sat home and never told another soul what he was doing. I guess by publicly going out there and loudly denouncing the bus company's policies every day, he wasn't doing a "boycott" correctly.

At mikef6 : Yes, "Blink", from the New Series, was very good... I'll never look at statues the same ever again! LOL! I also find this story pretty scary too... " Silence in the Library"/"Forest of the Dead" "Back in the library, The Doctor explains that they are surrounded by Vashta Nerada,...
at that moment there is a very creepy sound effect that is played.
...creatures that appear as shadows to hunt. He notes that every planet has them but that they are usually in much smaller numbers and not as aggressive. He describes them as "piranhas of the air" - able to devour the flesh from any organism in a matter of seconds. To demonstrate, the Doctor tosses a chicken drumstick into a shadow, where it instantly becomes a bare bone." " Count The Shadows!" The stories about (the mannequin versions) of The Autons are creepy too! Nothing like turning things that we encounter every day, like: mannequins, statues, & shadows, into potential monsters, to give us the creeps!

I own "The Masque of Mandragora" ... on DVD. Same here. Love Sarah Jane Smith. Especially 'Evil' Sarah Jane. I have all her classic adventures on DVD.

Love Sarah Jane Smith. I have all her classic adventures on DVD. I don't own them all, but I do have seven of her adventures, including her debut story "The Time Warrior".
