This is for two people. If you make it for more people just double the ingredients. Dice up half of this (or red): Then dice up one of these: Half a pound of this: Put ground beef, onion and pepper in large pot and brown beef on low heat. Drain grease a few times while browning it. When beef is brown add these two things and just simmer on low heat for about 30 minutes. Have with this: In the winter we spice it up with a few of these:

Chili...so tasty, but not so easy:
for 4 hungry people -
1-1/2 pounds of course ground beef (leaness to your specificity) 1 pound lean pork sausage(cook separately, drain well) 2 medium onions chopped 1 green pepper chopped
1 large can of crushed tomatoes 1/2 cup of V8 juice 2/3 cup of red wine (your choice) add - 1/2 cup of water to thin if needed
spices:
1 teaspoon celery seed 1 teaspoon ground coriander 1 teaspoon ground cumin 1 teaspoon minced garlic 1 teaspoon ground black pepper 1 tablespoon caraway seeds 1 tablespoon chili powder 1/2 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper 1 package of your favorite chili seasoning mix
Instructions:
Brown ground beef, onions and green pepper in olive oil in large pan. Add previously browned and drained pork sausage. Add remaining ingredients and cook on simmer for 1 hour, stirring frequently. Let rest for 2 hours. Then cook on simmer for 1 more hour before serving.
Optional - add 2 cans of kidney or red beans and heat thoroughly last 10 minutes of cooking time.
If you like chili, this cannot be beat...!!!

You don't put any seasoning? I use chili powder. Throw in cinnamon and hershey powder if I'm feeling freaky.
