Many years ago I saw some episodes of a series titled "Love at First Sight" which was in English but appeared to have production credits from continental Europe. It was early 90s and I got the impression it was an anthology series. I was watching free to air C band satellite back then. I actually taped one episode starring Robert Vaughan and this ended up being the only episode entered on IMDb. I got the impression at the time that these may have been shows from various sources cobbled together under one banner title. There is an episode that has haunted me for over 25 years now. It starred Cherie Lunghi as a mother meeting with a private detective trying to get the return of a son who had been kidnapped. It basically all took place in a cafe essentially in real time if I remember correctly We see incipient romance develop in the intensity of the moment but at the end with the job complete it appears that they will part company and never meet again. Rare sort of show that showcased great acting. Does anybody have a handle on this one? Love at First Sight
