My favorite has always been Magneto, but Dr. Doom is very close too. It is funny because all the movie versions of Dr. Doom have sucked. I also used to really like Bane (comic version). Sure, Hardy was great, but if I am going by the movies I much prefer Joker.

I know there are a lot. I find it hard to find a villain with more depth than Magneto. He has always been awesome to me. His backstory almost mimics the whole symbolism of the X-Men universe with racism and discrimination undertones. He has always been such a badass too. Of course, some could argue that he is not a true villain. He does act as a good guy from time to time. I still consider him a villain. Batman has the coolest villains all around though I think, even if on the surface they can seem a little ridiculous.
