much better than their regular fries. There was a cajun place I went to in my area where I had them. I love cajun style food and those fries are great. I can't speak about the five guys place because this is the first I"m hearing of it, but I would go there to try the fries. I want to make a correction. In an earlier post I said I get these fries at a place called Texas Roadhouse. But I was wrong. I go to a place called Texas Roadhouse and they serve fries similar to the ones above but they are not as good. The place I get them is a place called Longhorn Steakhouse. The ones at Texas Roadhouse are good but they don't come with JalapeΓ±o peppers. And I like them spicy especially in the winter. Longhorn brings you your own loaves of bread with creamy butter instead of rolls.

Cajun! I love cajun fries. I've never tried that five guys place. Haven't heard of it. much better than their regular fries. Are the cajun fries crispy or limp, soggy, mush mounds of potato (with seasoning sprinkled on top)?

A place called Texas Roadhouse. I get just the fries and my wife gets a steak. She is not a big bread eater so she give me her rolls and I leave very full. And with those hot JalapeΓ±o's I always have two or three of these Oh my God, these fries look really good. I like McD's thin fries, but I would choose the fries in your picture over McD's.

I don't think there's any near me but I think I like that better than the Outback.

I've been to Outback in the U.S.
Their fries are ok, but their steaks are really, really good.

There is a little pub where I grew up called THE BLAZER and it had the best steak fries ever. every once in a while you got one that was just a tad overdone and it was just this pocket of fried air. freaking awesome.

I recall hearing about Apple Pan from some TV show, but don't remember what it was. Can't remember if it was Triple D on Food Network, or one of the shows on Travel Channel like Food Paradise where I heard about that place? My cousin lives out in LA, so maybe I'll try that place someday whenever I visit her. For my favorite chain place for fries, it'd probably be Five Guys. Although Arby's and Red Robin aren't bad, either. Points for Red Robin having decent dipping sauces you can get with their fries besides them being unlimited refills, and that Arby's has awesome seasoning for their fries. All these IMO, blow McDonald's fries out of the water. McD's fries aren't bad, but IMO they lost something once beef tallow was eliminated from how they cook their own fries years ago. For local mom and pop Chicago places, I'd probably say Susie's(near Montrose and Elston) is probably my favorite place for fries. They hand cut their fries, and on top of that have an amazing variety of shakes. Place is a divey fast food stand, but dang do they have great fries.
