That is a great album Sulla. My favourite song is 'It's All I Can Do.' Benjamin Orr was such a talented and underrated vocalist and it was a shame he passed away so young and he never got to release his second solo album or record another album with the Cars. I didn't mind their latest album from a few years back but it wasn't the same without him.
It's All I Can Do by The Cars REMASTERED
Yeah, another good one! That's my favorite album from them. I would love to have seen them in concert, but never got the opportunity. And I know what you mean. Once a band loses a key player, it's difficult to recapture the magic.
Yes. It is. I like he Cars and own all their albums along with Ric Ocasek, Benjamin Orr and Elliot Easton's solo albums and I am not sure if you are a Todd Rundgren fan but there was a band called The New Cars around a decade ago which was a supergroup with Todd Rundgren, two members of the original Cars (Elliot Easton and Greg Hawkes) and 2 members of Todd's band, Utopia and they toured around America performing songs by the original band but put out an album with some new songs and these were two of them below. Out of all the albums the original lineup released their 'Heartbeat City' and Benjamin Orr's 'The Lace' are my favourites and I have lost count of how many times I have listened to Benjamin Orr's 'The Lace' 'cause that is a really great and underrated album and songs like 'Stay the Night', 'Hold On', 'This Time Around' and 'Skyline' are worth listening to if you have never heard them before. The band was never the same when they finally got back together with Ric and I was hoping they might have put some of the songs from Benjamin's unreleased second solo album on their last album to fill the void 'cause one song in particular (I'm Comin' Home Tonight') sounds like it would have fitted on a Cars album but sadly I don't think any of them will ever be officially released. Did you ever get to see them in concert Sulla or Ric or Benjamin solo?

Wow, Deb, you're a fountain of information! I had never heard of The New Cars. I can tell it's not Ric, but Rundgren sounds close enough to fit. I also recognize Easton's guitar style. I like that "Not Tonight" song mucho.
I had Ric's first solo album, Beatitude, until the cassette tape broke 10 years later. I never had any of the band's other solo albums. Over time they just seemed to fade from the public eye except I knew Ric married Paulina. I already had my eyes on her, dammit! I don't think radio in my area mentioned them or any of their later solo works until Ben died. But now I can peruse YouTube to catch up on these things. I thank you for pointing me in the right direction.
Never got the chance to see any of them perform live because they never visited my area. I would've though.

I never guessed this song would become an anthem at football games.
