.....that they use same actors for same kind of roles if their first role gets appreciated by the people. For example prakash raj was been typecast as gani bhai (wanted) in singam and buddhah hoga tera baap. I mean the roles were almost similar. One more example would be yami gautam. She dies in kaabil, badlapur and Action jackson and the rest of the story is about the actor taking revenge because of her. Does anybody has some more examples like this?

Almost every actor used as a comic relief. True. Like rajpal and johny lever but They have a little screen time compared to the leading villain or a leading heroine. I am talking about the leading character or a second lead. We cant even consider these comic relief comedians to be a second lead.

That’s common everywhere. They call it typecasting or being pigeonholed.
Not just acting. It happens in all walks of life.

Not just in bollywood but it happens to a great deal in hollywood too like with jim carrey who always gets the same old funny making face comic roles and van dam, arnold, sylvester etc always doing action flicks.
