Toht's melting face must be one of the most famous death scenes in the history of cinema. It's a great special effect and the first really bloody scene I saw as a kid. Everyone on schoolyard talked about it after watching Raiders on TV the previous evening. There's no competition.
Arab Swordsman and German Mechanic from the same movie get two remaining votes. Arab Swordman's death is great because it takes everyone off guard when you see it the first time. German mechanic's is the polar opposite, you know how he's going to die but the build up fight is just so damn great. It's also one of those scenes similar to Seven's famous "cardboard box scene" in that a lot of people will always claim to have seen much more than the movie actually shows. It's a great piece of suggestive audience manipulation done with editing.

What about Mac's death in "THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL" ? Did he die? I was always under the impression that he was "abducted".

Toht and Donovan's deaths are easily the best and most iconic. Great special effects too. I really enjoy Mola Ram's demise too, though it seems no one else did. Not surprising, seeing as everything about that movie is underrated.

Did the truck sergeant die, though? He simply fell of the truck by the side - didn't look dead to me.
