that and making fun of current events/past 'loves'. night court did this constantly and it was awesome.
the way the child appropriate shows tackled important issues without being preachy or judgmental.
the way they would just.not.care. about being pc. John Cleese is ABSOLUTELY RIGHT...
people just need to calm the fuck down when it comes to what is funny or not. stop wasting your time and energy on the things and people you hate.

Meh. What John Cleese is saying is the same thing people who used to do black face would say. They just claim the new generation has no sense of humor without realizing they do have a sense of humor. Just not about the same things the old generation did.
It's also why old people complain about new music.
