I'm getting the usual deluge of mail-order catalogs in the mail starting about now - pre-holiday period, leading up to Thanksgiving and Christmas. Food, clothing, gifts, etc. Some items are new and unknown to me, other stuff is the same-old same-old. Anyway, these catalogs: they're fun to look through, but the prices (and shipping charges) are nuts. Most all of them I end up tossing in the recycle bin. But I will say this: many of the food items and pictures thereof, are awfully darned tasty-looking!

No. Christmas catalogues aren't big in Israel. We get lots of doughnuts for sale all over the place because of Hannukah coming up, though.  |
