You ever buy the frozen ones and bake them yourself? What is a good brand?

Got something decent at Trader Joe's but I tend to put as much stuff on top as it already has, from more sauce to garlic, etc. Generally need to extend the cooking time some.

I'd probably opt for a fairly basic, thin-crust pizza, that I could then embellish a bit more with some of my own favorite toppings.

The two BEST are Home Run Inn (already mentioned by koskiewicz) and Screamin' Sicilian. NO NEED for ANY OTHERS as the rest are ALL SUBPAR to these two.

I'll definitely look for those - whether I can find them is a different matter. They don't sound like familiar labels I've seen in any of my local stores. But, I'll give 'em a look see.

RIP, for real, don't be mean...neither of those frozen pizzas are readily available to the masses.
Home run inn is like only in chicago. I even tried the 'pizza near me' part of the frozen pizza website -- nothing in queens, ny.
and the screamin Sicilian's website is aneurysm creating. I will do a bit of a taste test regarding different pizzas, there might be something like screamin's at the stop and shop but i'll have to see.

I live in Denver and we have Home Run Inn here (along of course with Screamin' Sicilian). I've never been to SS's website nor HRI's, for that matter. They only pizza websites I've been to or ones for restaurants, not ones for frozen grocery-store pizzas.

I did exactly that, and found that Home Run Inn pizzas are in fact to be found in a few stores quite near me. Looks like Whole Foods carries them, too... So thanks for that.

You made a valid point. I stand-by HRI and SS being the two BEST frozen pizzas around (found at certain locations in the US).
