Looks like POTA only just got a new sub forum here so may as well try and fill it out a little bit.
Of the new POTA trilogy which do you think is the best one?
I'd say Dawn.

'Dawn' for me as well.
It's a near masterpiece.

Dawn probably, it just got one nasty plot hole I cannot get over. Have to rewatch war again. But all three are near masterpieces. ❤️ 🙉🙈🙊

I chose War but it is just about even with Dawn in my book.

I really enjoyed War the most as it was the closest to the old Planet of the Apes saga since Caeser speaks a lot more than he did in the other two movies.
Andy Serkis gave his strongest performance as Caeser.
This was the rare trilogy that I enjoyed more and more with each movie.

I’m gonna go with War for now. That could be because it’s fresh in my head. I want to go with Rise but it takes too long for Caesar to get to the habitat with the other apes and I really only like the film once that happens.
Dawn is a solid follow up that I should rewatch. My heart kind of breaks seeing ape on ape violence tho. I want to hate the humans in this world, not Koba.
War is as solid an ending to the trilogy as I could hope for so I voted that one.

I rank them in release date order, i.e., "Rise" is my favorite.
But I like them all.

Rise by far.
I found both of the Matt Reeves films to be extremely dissapointing follow-ups.
