I'm legitimately curious because this is technically a film by Whedon with a lot of Whedon material in it. Last I checked, DC-Fan hates Whedon because he did Avengers and even said he wrote a terrible Wonder Woman script. So help me out here DC-Fan. Why do you like this film so much? If you're saying it's such a great film, especially any mention of the humor, then by default, The Avengers is a great film as well because that's all Whedon as well.

Did you enjoy that Falcons game Monday night? I know I did. The seahawks streak of paying off officials to win on Monday night is over. Dick sherman is probably still crying. He's such a little bitch.

I enjoyed both the two Avengers movies and Justice League, the latter perhaps a bit more because Batman is my favorite superhero, plus Batman and Superman are classic and both are awesome in it.
And while the Wonder Woman movie is solid, that's not a film I would watch again, but Wonder Woman is awesome in JL as well, and definitely much better than she is in both BvS and WW.
I also enjoyed Ezra Miller's Flash immensely, and I'm saying that as a fan of Grant Gustin's Flash on television.
There's no reason both can't exist (alternate Earths, anyone?), and neither takes away from or diminishes the other.

I wouldn't be even half as Anti-DCEU as I am right now if its fandom weren't all pretentious blowhards who talk down to other people.

Who's your football team? NFL Atlanta Falcons. College The University of Georgia Bulldogs. How about you? 49ers and UCLA, both teams suck balls. Falcons, huh? Is that 28-3 blown lead still fresh in your mind? I don't mean to insult your team, I was actually rooting for the Falcons.

I'm hoping both of my teams win out this season. That would more than make up for last seasons Super Bowl loss. Not an easy path for either though. NFC South is strong this year and the Dawgs will basically have to win THREE National Championship games to earn one title. They will have to beat either Bama or Auburn in SEC Championship game THEN beat whoever they are matched with in semi final Playoff game THEN win National Championship game. All with a true Freshman QB who wasn't even expected to get much playing time this season.

It was commiserated about with friends and on Sports Talk radio for months so I decided once the season started I didn't want to rehash it any more. I'm not a misery loves company type guy and I'm ambivalent about Houston so it doesn't make me feel better. It makes my sympathize with you though. Especially considering the Braves lost a lot more World Series than they won. It's not easy being a sports fan in Atlanta.

Braves and Hawks don't seem to be going nowhere, at least the Falcons will/should make the playoffs.

Um, that isn't how it always goes down - sorry to burst your bubble. There have been plenty of movies that were re-directed by uncredited people. X-Men Origins: Wolverine is credited as being a Gavin Hood directed film, but the reality is that most of the movie was re-shot with a different director( still unnamed, many speculate Richard Donner who was producer on it) by demand of then Fox head Tom Rothman. Everything after Logan exits Stryker's team of mutants is when there is no more footage that was overseen by Hood. Naturally, the studio is not going to give credit to the unnamed director because of bad PR potentiality. A lot of Justice League was re-shot by Whedon and Whedon took over overseeing production when Snyder stepped down. Snyder, in his own words, did nothing for the film since March. The theatrical cut we have in theatres now is not Snyder's, its WB/Whedon's.

Actually that's a far more complex thing, and DGA rules prohibit sharing credits when a new director takes over a production unless it meets a specific portion of the film, it's not even about the importance of impact the new scenes make on the film but comes down to minutes shot by one guy vs minutes shot by another.
It's such a pain that even when the director wants to share credit for a film such as Sin City he has to fight the DGA to extreme lengths just to share his credit with another person, in that case Frank Miller, the studios don't even get a say, same happens wit the WGA which is why films stuck in development hell that get made finally can have a shitload of credited writers even if the script got bounced around and the final product was a fresh script by someone who never saw any other version, which with CBM's is even worse given most of those films follow prexisting story elements from the comics so every version follows the same premise but with certain twist, so the first writer will get credit because he penned the original script that apart from the basics he took from the comics has nothing resembling the final script in his version.
Hollywood man, what a fucking headache it must be.

The theatrical cut we have in theatres now is not Snyder's, its WB/Whedon's. when taking over I heard the new director needs to have directed 60% or more of the footage used in the films final version to be awarded credit for it, which includes establishing shots and other filler things that eat up time but have little baring to the film, also I think I heard they do have to petition to be given credit also, so if they take over a project just to get it done but don't want their name attached they can simply opt out of it, which given the reason given why Whedon took over it would be a dick move for him to try and get credit anyway.
Do you know if that's true or anyone else on here know because with a lot of this stuff I know can be misinterpreted by the common folk like myself.
