I am not quite sure why this is relevant, but thanks anyway. Also, J Edgar has been dead for years. Oh, I think you're smart enough to see why it's relevant. So when the J. Edgar died, the official truth instantly became something other than what he maintained while he was alive?
Despite your usual problems with official truth (as opposed to Erjen's truths, presumably) the fact remains that (in the UK at least) there have been no successful prosecutions for 'satanic child abuse'. Not one. There have been cases though, well reported where children have been removed from their parents by social workers labouring under the illusion that devil worshipers were hard at work. Such myths appear straight out of the history of medieval hysteria.
Also, you are even historically inaccurate about J Edgar. It is true that for many years he refused to take the threat and the existence of the Mafia seriously - being more fixed on the alleged Commies within - which led to the continued, insidious growth of such organised crime. However he was forced to change the FBI's approach, notably after the infamous Apalachin meeting of 1957 (an accidentally discovered meeting of over 60 leading lights of different families in the New York City Mafia). This single point in criminal history had a significant effect - not only for the Mafia, but the way the FBI investigated. i.e. the 'official truth' changed before the death of J Edgar. I hope that helps.
