IKWYDLS would definitely be one for me. The first is very good, the second meh but with some okay moments, and the third is just an atrocity.

Child's Play (5 movies - haven't seen Cult of Chucky, but it better be better than anything after Child's Play 3)
The Godfather (trilogy)
Scream (4 movies)
Jurassic Park (counting in Jurassic World)
The Hobbit (I've only seen each only once though, and the extended cuts may change things too.)

I find I actually like all of the Child's Play films, although the first three were definitely of a higher quality than what came after.

Back To The Future could be another for me after I see them again. I remember as a kid 2 was my favorite but that could definitely change when I eventually see them again, it's been so many years.

This is possibly another for me, it's been so long since I last watched the original two. Never saw the two made for cable sequels but they look awful. No shock they'd be at the bottom.

Wow......not ONE fan of "Harry Potter".....or "James Bond", for that matter. I'm truly shocked.

I'm reminded how I've yet to see the Toy Story sequels and how I haven't seen the original since childhood.

How's this for a coincedence, saw in my TV listings that the Disney Channel will be showing all three Toy Story movies tomorrow. I've already set my DVR and will watch them this week. Should be interesting to re-visit the original for the first time in so long and also see the sequels for the first time.

Just posting this to say that I just watched Jeepers Creepers 3 and didn't find it particularly good. It was rather disappointing and left many questions unanswered for the mythos. Therefore, another series I would rank in release order is now Jeepers Creepers, as the first film was great with an original concept and the second one while silly was still decent. Guess we'll have to wait another decade for JC4.

I've yet to see Jeepers Creepers 3 and am in no real rush to due to the director's crimes. I can normally seperate entertainers I dislike as people from their work as an artist but I find in the case of Victor Salva I really can't.

The Godfather - While I love Part 2 and it is equal in quality to Part 1, the original will always be my absolute fave Lethal Weapon - though I enjoy the sequels about the same Rambo Jurassic Park Jaws The Matrix Predator Robocop

Batman series (first four), though it's a close call between the first two. Robocop original trilogy Alien original trilogy (don't really recall the fourth) Chronicles of Narnia Jurassic Park trilogy
I have a sinking suspicion Avengers will fall in this category.

That reminds me how I've yet to see the Chronicles Of Narnia films.

The newer Planet Of The Apes trilogy might be one for me, but it's always so close for Rise and Dawn as my favorite. I loved War as well and it only barely rates lower than the first two for me, and I feel it was a fitting finale from an emotional standpoint.

Definitely the original Planet of the Apes series. They were all good but every sequel was slightly inferior to the previous one.

I notice, it seems the later POTA films of the original canon aren't very well-received.
