My household keeps getting sick too often! I'm trying to think of good ways to get the vitamins in, and I think smoothies are the way to go. Do you have smoothies ideas?
Would love to hear them (read)

I generally make variations of the same 2
1 - a banana, an apple, handful of frozen fruit (strawberries, mango, peace, pineapple), 1 tbsp of chia seeds, 1 tbsp of protein powder, and 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
2 - an apple, kale (as much as you want really), handful of frozen pineapple, 1 tbsp of chia seeds and protein powder, and about 1/2 - 3/4 cup of water.

When I was making them - frozen berries/fruit, carrot, celery, coconut milk, kale, parsley, flax, vanilla, ice, sometimes banana and or yogurt.

I drink a smoothie and an iced coffee every day when I'm home. Smoothie first thing in the morning. Iced coffee after I finish my workout (biking + gym (weightlifting and some calisthenics)) or hike.
Smoothie is berries--strawberry, raspberry, blueberry mostly, plus 0% fat plain Greek yogurt, carrots, equal parts cranberry/pomegranate (100%) juice + water, and vanilla-flavored whey protein
Iced coffee is Dunkin Donuts cold brew with almond milk plus an espresso shot, then I add a shot of pumpkin spice and/or chocolate-flavored coffee creamer, a shot of Bailey's Irish Cream + Kahlua, and finally a different vanilla-flavored plant protein, one that has ground flax seeds, ground chia seeds, dried spinach, hemp, kale, legumes (navy beans, garbanzo beans, lentils), beets, monk fruit, probiotics and tumeric. I put it in the blender like a smoothie.
The protein I was using for my coffee I can't find any longer, unfortunately, but I've got a substitute I'm about to try for the first time. It's not exactly the same combo, but it's close.
[Edit: hmm, actually I just checked and the protein for my coffee--I use Kashi Golean Vanilla Vinyasa powder--is finally back in stock. I bought a huge thing of Vega's Vanilla Protein & Greens as a substitute, so I guess I'll alternate them for a bit until the Vega runs out. Maybe I'll like the flavor of that more, but the Kashi has a better ingredient combo, so I prefer that.]

Nothing. I don't drink smoothies. Never? it's a good way to get a ton of nutrition, unless you're really good with meals.
