Have not even finished watching yet, (I work 3rd shift and have to watch the next day). Not much in plot progression, seems like "filler", yet I am still enjoying it. (Just like last weeks Eugene episode). This is to be expected to have filler to flesh out details. The thing is I don't expect much from the Jadis group, even if they get guns. I just don't trust them to back up Rick's group. Pluses...I really enjoyed team Richonne...I'm really starting to feel them! They make such a great team! I have said before that great entertainment means being manipulated. They really did this here! We knew Rick was still alive, but the look of devastation on Michonne when she thought Rick was dead, then him popping out ...the sword toss was definitely an iconic moment!! Very good zombie battles Negatives....once again, another stupid Rick plan. They should have went back for reinforcements instead of trying to take all those walkers out themselves. Rosita...I am so ready for her to die. The rumor is Sasha will die, but now I hope it is Rosita. I am so sick of her. Now she wants to blame Gabriel as well? Still do not trust the Junkyard gang. I feel they should have kept the guns for themselves.

"the sword toss was definitely an iconic moment!! " When that moment happened, the moment where Retarded Rick throws the sword to Michonne all Sam Raimi-like and she makes that face, that "Oh, my great hero is still alive, all hope is not lost.... I LOVE you" face? I wanted a huge hamhock fist to appear from out of frame and start punching her stupid love-face repeatedly, until it was reduced to hamburger. Really? I quite liked that moment.

I have, but maybe I just take the show for what it is and not dissect it to death. In that moment, she thought he was actually dead and it devastated her. I thought it delivered in that regard.

Exactly. I want to enjoy the show and go with the emotion sometimes. I don't want to sit there criticizing every little point, like comic book guy cynically snearing "Worst episode, ever!"

Rick throwing the Katana to Michonne was laughable so over the top.

Over the top? You realize this is a show about zombies?

Rick throwing the Katana to Michonne was laughable so over the top. Jump the shark ---> Nuke the fridge ---> Throw the sword? It was over the top AND cheesy.

"Great writing?" "Serious dramatic masterpiece?" LOL! Hardwick and Gimple, (and Kirkman too), are jokes. But hell I like the show. I like cartoons also!

Well, not quite nothing. Rosita and Sasha decide to go on a suicide mission to kill Negan. and it's a silly plan, but TPTB have to set up a way to kill off Sasha , as she is probably leaving to go to her gig at the new Star Trek.
