goes to show you don't blindly worship everything from DC like many posters here do with a certain other comic book universe. Yeah because there isn’t a single DC fan on this board who blindly worships everything from DC. In no way did I suggest otherwise. I'm not sure why you seem to take many of my posts personally especially since I rarely if ever address you. What do you rate The Dark Knight? A stereotypical mcu fanatic would give it a low rating but I would never assume you're one of those so what do you rate it?

Yeah because there isn’t a single DC fan on this board who blindly worships everything from DC. In no way did I suggest otherwise. Actually you did. You said “you don’t blindly worship DC like some MCU fans blindly worship MCU” instead of “You don’t blindly worship DC like some DC fans do and some MCU fans do with MCU”. Why did you even bring up MCU fans? Just another pathetic attempt at baiting. I gave all Dark Knight movies 10/10. A higher rating than I gave any MCU movie.

I rarely ever hand out a 10 out of 10, it pretty much never happens, but this is as close as it gets without giving it the 10 out of 10 rating. A comic book movie masterpiece in my opinion with a couple slight flaws that aren't nearly enough to bring this movie down.

I only saw it once. I was very disappointed with it and only gave it a 5/10. I should give it another shot sometime. I'm generally a Batman fan, by the way, but I'm a Batman fan who liked the Joel Schumacher films, the Adam West series, etc. Just curious, what are your thoughts on the two Burton films? I like the Burton films a lot, too. The Dark Knight is really the only Batman I've seen that I've been disappointed with. I liked Nolan's Begins. I still haven't watched Rises though. I can't recall my specific complaints about The Dark Knight at this point--it's been too long, but I remember not liking Heath Ledger's Joker very much. One problem is that Nolan was apparently shooting for realistic, but I don't want realism. I like fantasy (and I like absurdism, surrealism, etc., too)

10/10!
Nolan's masterpiece! A film that shits all over the MCU, DCEU and the Fox X-Men movies

A+ ...my #29 all time. I know ppl don't prefer the daytime aspect of it, & yet Nolan wrote that right into the screenplay - the mob wants no part of nighttime dealings &/or Batman. I like how Chicago is used as well, it still feels like Gotham City in a real world.
TDK trilogy seems to have that pattern of city as character - Chicago night/slums, Chicago day/brash, & Pittsburgh intimate.
