I enjoy the core gameplay, but galactic assault lacks variety and the progression system is really bad Yeah I'm sure the game plays well. And it looks like one of the best looking games ever. It's just brought down by EA's BS broken progression system. And there's only a few good game modes.

Battlefront was flawed but showed a lot of promise, so I really wanted Battlefront 2 to rock. And it should have; it could have been the game of the year. Sadly, it's now destined to be remembered as the game that was broken in the EA boardroom.

I bought the game because it's Star Wars but i hadn't played it yet. Is it all in first person or it has portions where it's also in 3rd person? I remember seeing that in videos. I'm interested only in the story mode

I'm interested only in the story mode It has both first person and third person views, depending on the level. The story mode is pretty good IMO. You get to be Luke, Lando, Han, and Leia all at some point in the story.

I keep hearing this from people, but they must not play the game. It is simply not true. I am fully upgraded everywhere and outrank most people in lobbies that I play with, yet I have never spent one dollar. Granted, I play the game all of the time so maybe that has something to do with it, but still. They give you decent credits for every game, especially if you play well. You can use those to buy crates and get crafting parts, etc.

I seen examples of it not mattering how well you play the game. Everyone levels up the same. The idea was to entice people with micro transactions but the blow back ended that. Like I said before I bet the game play is good. And it's probably one of the best looking games out there. But it was ruined with EA's BS.

Why should I waste my time and money on the game? I seen reviews of it. I played the first game. The game play was good. And it was a great looking game. Still one of the best looking games ever. But it really lacks when it comes to game modes. It was a real disappointment. I was excited for 2 but thankfully instead of just getting it like I did the last game I waited for reviews. And it's cool that they did add more content to the new game. But the new campaign is short and isn't a good story. Just like the last game there isn't many modes that are worth it. And the progression is trash. From what you said it sounds like it was patched. But I'm not interested in the game anymore.

It is the most dynamic first person shooter out there. It has tons of game modes and the story is longer than COD. Once again, every person who complains about this game has not played it. This is a fact. I have seen it every time someone mentions these supposed negative aspects of the game. Everyone I know who has played the game loves it.

What's the point of anyone reviewing games?

So I have to buy every game that exists to have an opinion on any of them? What's the point of anyone reviewing games? Well I would argue that you should play a game before you review, especially when all of your criticisms aren't valid. I didn't give any kind of review. And I actually do review games. I'll admit they're nothing special but I do write up reviews time to time. So where is it that I rate the game or go into specifics? I don't because I haven't played it. Everything I'm saying is in general terms. And what I'm saying is what other people have been say. Specifically Angry Joe. I don't care if you like him, dislike him or don't know who he is. But I decided to wait for his review to decide if I should get Battlefront II or not. He gave the game a 6/10. And while that's not a great score I'll also admit it's not very bad. But why should I waste $60 on mediocrity? And what about now? The game has done so bad that it's price dropped by half. Well I still haven't finished several games that are great like the new Zelda game or the new Super Mario. Heck even though it was disappointing I still haven't finished the new Mass Effect. I'm not interested in investing my time or money into the new Battlefront. And that's coming from someone who has been a Star Wars fan his whole life. So far who haven't given one critique of the game. If your honest option is that it's great and there's nothing wrong with it that's fine. I honestly think it's great that you find enjoyment in the game.

I doubt it. I saw gameplay of that game. It had Darth Maul and the girl from the new movies fighting in Naboo. Like what the hell? Have DICE even seen the movies? That is beyond stupid.
I've played the first one though. Possibly the best graphics I have ever seen in a game. Pretty basic gameplay though.
